scamper is a short work using algorithmic composition techniques and digital sound to playfully evoke liminal spaces between human, instrumental, and electronic voices. As the title suggests, much of the piece is full of quick gestures and nervous energy. At its conclusion, however, the music becomes increasingly lethargic, almost defeated.
